As a therapist, I am dedicated to providing a safe and empathetic space where you can explore your emotions, deepen self-awareness, and foster meaningful internal and external relationships.
I have a warm and curious manner, and I welcome all parts of you into our work together. I have experience working with people struggling with life transitions, stress, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
My therapeutic approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindful Self-Compassion, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic principles. This blend allows you to explore the complexities of your inner life, understand your patterns and relationships, and cultivate self-compassion as you work towards healing and personal transformation. My hope for your therapy is that you will feel empowered to explore and integrate all aspects of yourself.
Sarina Shahmoon-Kleinman, LMSW (she/her) is a graduate of NYU Silver School of Social Work and holds a BA in Psychology from Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences. She has additional training in Internal Family Systems Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion.
