My therapeutic practice is driven by a deep-seated passion of helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I firmly believe in viewing each person as a holistic being, understanding that their experiences, emotions, and aspirations are interconnected. Operating from a non-judgmental perspective, I collaborate with my clients to facilitate their growth and empower them to embody their desired selves. My commitment lies in fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their innermost thoughts and relationships. This journey takes time, practice, and a lot of patience, which is why I commit to supporting you every step of the way, both as a therapist and a fellow human-being.
Together, we can process the lived experiences that may hinder your personal fulfillment, as well as build the habits and strategies that will constitute your most authentic self. Using a trauma-informed approach, I have helped individuals manage Anxiety, Depression, Identity Confusion, Grief and other Unresolved Losses. Furthermore, I aim to assist you in breaking the cycles of interpersonal conflict that stem from boundary violations, miscommunications, or relationship traumas. As a Social Worker and a Psychotherapist, I am committed to maintaining an anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice, where I take pride in working with the identities that you hold dear.
Foundational to my therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where I aim to investigate the relationship between your automatic thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Furthermore, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in order to promote acceptance of one’s thoughts and emotions, which I find is fundamental to meaningful change. Additionally, I integrate skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in order to equip clients with practical tools to manage distress, improve interpersonal relationships, and regulate emotions effectively. By implementing mindfulness and behavioral strategies, I facilitate a deeper understanding of one's inner experiences and aim to help each client build a deeper relationship with themselves. My goal is to empower you with attainable strategies that foster positive change and promote a more fulfilling life.
