The world can be a hectic place, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad one, and we don’t have to go through it alone. We all need a little support, whether that comes in the form of working through past trauma, life stressors, family dynamics, relationship issues, mental health complications, or simply needing a safe space to vent and process whatever is going on, it’s my goal to be that support.
I am a deep believer in exploration and empathy. It’s my goal to make you feel seen, safe, and supported. Understanding the events of our lives and how they have affected us can unlock a new way forward for each of us. We are all the main characters in our own stories, and taking control of that story can be an incredibly empowering and life-changing thing.
In our work together, we will work collaboratively to find what is going to work best for you. As a marriage and family therapist, I tend to think structurally and systematically. We can work to understand the different relationships and systems that you are in and how they affect you. I am specifically trained in helping couples as a marriage and family therapist, and I also have extensive training in working with individuals. I tend to work in a multitude of modalities, some of which include psychodynamic, narrative, systemic, existential, and feminist theories. Understanding unconscious drives, personal stories, relational mechanics, and societal factors are all different ways to tackle different problems you may be facing. Together we can explore what will work best for you, and help you to live the life you want to lead.
